From Jenny Agutter about her Niece

When my niece Rachel was found to have cystic fibrosis it was a shock to the family, but with care, medication, and hard work, she has so far held back the life threatening damage caused to her lungs by infections. When her sister, my niece Georgina, found her second child had cystic fibrosis, it felt like another terrible blow. Her husband carried such a rare CF gene it wasn’t detected.

Georgina has posted this message which I would like to share with you and hope you will also pass on.

"When our beautiful boy Albert was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at four weeks old it was an enormous shock for us and our family. An all too familiar disease had reared its ugly head again. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust has been there for us every step of the way. That’s why my lovely brother is running the London Marathon this year to raise much needed funds to support the charity and and the wonderful work they do in striving for a cure.

We would be so grateful for any sponsorship of Charlie’s efforts to raise funds."
