In name 'Executive Producer' - in reality with a two-man band, anything from contracts & casting to catering & crowd-funding with publicity & PR on the side...

 

Originally funded only by overdraft, and run by director/writer Dan Freeman and me, with a few terrific crew coming in to help as needed.  With no budget for anything, let alone publicity, the series was promoted only by word of mouth and through its evergrowing international following brought in through its social media campaign.

 

We completed the first season of 6 parts through crowd-funding from its committed worldwide fanbase, winning a USA Parsec Award, and being nominated for a BBC Audio Award.

 

Those fans also then funded a micropilot - a 7 min film starring Paul McGann and Tim McInnerny based on the series' Prologue.
