I was saddened at the time of the Brexit vote that the focus of the arguments on both sides, to stay and leave, were on negative issues. We are now at a very crucial time in our history and I would like to encourage anyone following my page in the UK, whatever their views, to consider what happens next.
Personally, I believe that being part of a European Union has offered many benefits; financial and cultural. The information leading up to the Brexit vote, was muddied by political manoeuvring, as well as lies which have since been recognised.
The People's Vote is a campaign to allow us all to make a more informed decision about our future, and to safeguard a fruitful relationship with Europe. I am out of the UK at the moment, but would otherwise be taking part in the march on Saturday. It is a way to show we care what happens next.
